TICKS
Crime in a BottleV0Super fun jug ladder, but quite tall and feels heady due to wind exposure and the height of this top out. Personally I avoided looking down and it was awesome! Minimal snow on top yay.
Meadowtop, New River Gorge
FlashCrimpin’ Aint EasyV3crimpy start, almost thought I was gonna mess up my flash go. Floated through the roof section, pulled a sick drop knee, and got my hips over the top with some encouargement from the homies. Just kept walking my feet up and it was super doable, with the mental security of a good southern spot.
Meadowtop, New River Gorge
FlashI Love LuciV3Really small box for the start. Overhung, tough crimps, then a big move to a ledge, worked my way right of the arete and topped out easily once the start moves clicked.
Meadowtop, New River Gorge
SendBeauty School DroupoutV2Super fun lowball roof line! Fun to finally send this one! After punting the top many times, I was able to slap around the knob and mantle.
Meadowtop, New River Gorge
SendFriends of CoalV3So strong on heel crank and the cross beta. Kept the tension and moved swiftly and efficiently through the roof section. Super long but fun problem. Beware the tree on your top out.

SendJunkyard Warm Up
V2Couple of attempts and got it! Just needed to trust and get those feet really high in the roof and reach back to the flake, swing out and core up during the cut feet!
Junkyard, New River Gorge
SendRonski SlabV1Chill slab just work ya feet. Need to come back and try no hands like kenner did.
Interp Boulders, New River Gorge
SendFayette Station SlabV1Fun hand/feet match. Delicate, balancy, and techy.

700 feet total
First solo scramble with henry and jeff! Was such an incredible day. Watching jeff on the first pitch had me gripped though. Almost dropped the go pro and had to keep it in his mouth. Insane work.

SendShe Persists5.8+Flash/Onsight, chimney start section kinda spicy but fun slab. No hangs! good job clipping and trusting feet, working on honing my instincts
Progressive Buttress, Hanging Mountain
OnsightBeginning’s End5.10+Hung it at the buldge crux a few times, good job working through the opening moves and making it through the end with no hangs!
Progressive Buttress, Hanging Mountain
SendNot Me, Us5.8+Nearly onsighted, hung once at the end. Took too long doubting instincts. Pull up, match after sidepull on the shit crimp, then rock right foot up onto ledge and clip the chains.
Progressive Buttress, Hanging Mountain
SendShotgun BettyV0Fun overhanging jug haul. Start on the giant jug under the overhanging block and follow the jugs to the top. Gotta trust the slap and get all the way over those slopers, then press and get those feet on top. Don’t slip traversing the corridor to the downclimb! Love to run laps on this one. Moon BabyV0Start on obvious jugs of your choice on the small, blunt arete. Climb up protruding jugs to a big move to a ledge.

Nuttalburg 3v3Start matched on a low crimp ledge, and make a big first move. Traverse right on thin crimps with tricky feet, and feel some relief when you reach the rightmost ledge- the biggest hold of this climb. But alas, the fight isn’t over. Get a high foot and make a tough mantle, and then press it out!

Nuttalburg Highballv2Work through bulging protrusions, mantle onto a ledge and delicately pull yourself up and walk through the top.

Underdog5.10aOne of Rumney’s most classic routes of the grade. It is long, starting with easy juggy vert/slab, steepening through the middle of the climb. The technical crux of the route involves moving left near the fourth bolt. Continue past the famous "triangle," pocket. A thin move or two brings you to the last moves before the anchor.

Sweet Poly Purebred5.10cEasy juggy climbing leads to a rest ledge. Put a long draw on the bolt off the ledge and launch into the overhanging crux (previously "protected" by a shady pin). This crux can be baffling until the correct sequence is found. Layback up the wonderful hanging corner. Slabby moves give way to another crux below the anchors.
